MEDICAL STANDARD FOR OTHER RANK
The medical standard for the recruitment in Indian Army for the post of soldier and JCOs are given below:-
1. A candidate should have robust physical and mental health to join Indian Army as a soldier.
2. He must be fit enough to undergo the stress and strain of military
training and service.
1. Height: As specified for various categories.
2. Weight: Minimum 50 Kgs.
3. Chest: 77 cm unexpanded with 5 cm expansion. Chest should be well formed.
2.PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST : To determine the Physical Fitness, the following tests carrying 100 marks are held:
(a) 1 Mile Run
(b) Pull Ups
(d) 9 Feet Ditch
